The Fuyutsuki class was the kantai navis second class guided missile destroyer unlike the previous Isonami class which itself was merely a conversion of an already existing destroy class, The Fuyutsuki class however was designed from the Ground Up to be a guided missile Destroyer from the start, the first of the class Fuyutsuki was commissioned in 1960 with a Total of 15 ships in the class would be constructed from 1957 to 1967. The class would ultimately serve from the early 60s up until the late 80s the last of the class Okitsukaze was decommissioned on 17th of October 1990.
