76mm H/PJ-26
History
The H/PJ-26 is a Chinese variant of Russian AK176M 76mm naval gun, developed by CSIC No.713 Institute in 2000. China bought at less one AK176M in about 1999, installed on 774廉江(Lianjiang), the last ship of Type 037II missile boat. Performance of the gun is similar to AK176M. The major difference to the Russian system is the Chinese variant has a stealth turret, in-turret control system is removed, a small muzzle velocity radar is added. The export variant of H/PJ-26 is slightly different to the basic model, muzzle velocity radar and optics integrated on the turret are removed. Fire control is provided by H/LJP-349A radar.
