The Royal Salidan Antarctic Commission is Salide's national Antarctic programme. It is headquartered in Claddagh.

The RSAC operates one independent Salidan Station and operates six others in conjunction with other Antarctic programmes. The RSAC operates two icebreakers, Mor-Anann and Tir-Bauth, eight aircraft, and has a staff of 290.

The RSAC is a founding member of the United Antarctic Programme.
