History

The DA-05 was the first of the new generation of Holland Signaal Apparaten Doelaanwijs (DA) radars. Loosely related in development to the HSA LW-04 radar, it shares a similar elliptical antenna. Compared to the earlier DA radars, it employs an new and more powerful magnetron and it is fitted for digital MTI.
