History

Hai Jian Ling (海劍羚, lit. 'Sea Sword Antelope') is a short range surface-to-air missile/close-in-weapons system developed by the Republic of China Navy. Effective range is 15 kilometers, with on-board infrared guidance.

Hai Jian Ling was first displayed in 2015, with further graphics released in 2017 and 2022. In 2021 and 2022, both stand-alone (獨立) and integrated (戰系) variants were tested on LCC-1 Kaoshiung, the ROCN's weapons trial ship. Production is slated to begin in 2023.

The integrated variant holds 24 Hai Jian Ling missiles; the stand-along variant holds 12 missiles, with EO/IR sensor and active phased radar atop.
