The Texas Polar Research Institute is the Arctic and Antarctic Program of the Republic of Texas.
The TPRI has two ships, one ice-strengthened ship for operation in the Arctic regions and a CODLOG LL8 icebreaker for use in Antarctica, permanently stationed in Rhone, Denton at the United Antarctic Programme Headquarters.
