Part description

Red lines shows the bulkheads and decks around the installation. The drawing has the belowdeck installation drawn in, which requires covering for use on a finished Shipbucket drawing. The mounting deck is marked in green. The missiles inside the magazines are the correct length, but as per shipbucket standards there is an more detailed, recognisable, oversized drawing of the missile included for the missile line.

The variants shown in the drawing are

  • Type 82: used on HMS Bristol.
  • CVA-01: Never build, proposed for CVA-01
  • Type 42 and Invincible: Used on the T42 destroyers and invincible class carriers
  • Boxed: Never build, Boxed Sea Dart launcher for use on smaller ships.
  • Study 392: Never build, conjectural drawing of a single Sea Dart launcher. size and arrangement found on the Study 392 proposal
  • Half a T42 magazine: Never build, conjectural drawing of a single Sea Dart launcher. Magazine and arrangement based on a T42 magazine halved by splitting it on the centerline.
