I'd like to present you some real armour I've been working on, and wish to extend the invitation to others who are depicting real armour or other military vehicles too.
Kicking off with Magyar Steel
The Landsverk L-60 is my all time favourite looking tank of all time and the Toldi is a stellar part of this.
This drawing represents the 2nd service version refitted with a 40mm gun. It shows the late war Hungarian cross and the Armour Corps insignia on the turret on an overall green scheme.
The mainstay of the Hungarian armoured forces, the Turán family was developed from the Czech Škoda Š-IIc, later known as the T-21. This Turán I sports a carefully applied winter camouflage, the late war cross and the Armour Corps insignia.
This tank is in reality a refitted Turán I with a Turán II turret, lacks markings beyond the registration only seen from the front and back, and the late war cross.
Based on the Turán chassis, the Zrínyi II is an assault gun armed with a 105mm howitzer. The vehicle depicted here lacks the three tone camouflage and side skirts commonly seen on them.
Twenty two Pz.Kpfw. IV F1 were in service with the Hungarian army during the Great Patriotic War. This example sports the early war cross and tactical number on the turret bustle.
Not a real tank per se, the sole prototype was destroyed in a bombing raid in 1944, the tank existed but this image shows a speculative in-service version as no photographs of the prototype have survived.
That's it for now, hope you like them, I sure enjoyed drawing them, I find the scale comfortable and the drawings to take less effort and time than a destroyer-sized ship in SB, so I hope to show you many more vehicles.
Once more I'd like to invite anyone doing real military vehicles in this scale to post them here.
