Nationality of vessel and vessel application based on personal preference.

Truly amazing work. An American revolutionary concept for use by the Soviet people :)

Good job. I don't agree with the ammount of shades or the application of shading but I understand its a super curvy vessel so it's hard to represent shape well.

I don't get how the hull shading works though, I mean the propeller shafts are dark both top and bottom but not in the middle? And the bow looks extremely round, and the rudder is very fat at the back but not at the front?

About the shadow, maybe you can contrast the picture with the original model.

I think only the Soviets people could make such a crazy plan, In fact Italian buy the blueprints of the ship,So maybe I need to make an Italian ship,But I don't think Mussolini has ability to accomplish it.

- shadow, should be dark, when facing away from light source, but light facing toward the light.... You have dark shadow facing both way!
- rudder doesn't need any shadow
- bow is totally wrong, compared to the model, try be a little more accurate toward the original source.
- oh before I forget, you have to many windows compared to the model!

An interesting concept for sure (and one I think Alvama drew several years ago, possibly in FD scale if my memory is correct).

Of course it must be pointed out that Normal Bel Geddes was not a naval engineer. It was a time filler for his staff, the Italian connection coming from theatrical designer Ernest de Weerth, on behalf of Mussolini. Another odd non-naval connection. Geddes hoped an American shipbuilder would take up the concept but sadly it was not to be. I suspect a proper firm of naval architects would have made several changes to the design to make it practical.

- If you can understand, the light shines from the upper right,so all the surface which on the Left side or underside or both of them are dark. The tail shadow is correct.

- What's the meaning of 'rider'?You mean the 'rudder' ?

- I changed the hull lines. This is personal design,of course not copy the original design.Geddes's teardrop hull Lines design is totally infeasible, that will increase too much wave making resistance.

- I can adding windows whatever I want,

I think they will certainly change the ship's hull lines,Especially the bow. This is a rationalized design. But the streamlined ocean liner is a really exciting design, elegant,Sense of 1930s modern technology.
