I assume this is the so-called "spoon bow"?

This is the so-called Tyssen-Waas bow. As far I know this design was used very seldomly:I remember the Kapitan Sorokin (Russia) and the Max Waldeck (Germany).
Beside the ugly look it does not work very good...

... and they use that Tyssen-Waas bow because...? It IS extremely ungainly in truth!

Here is Mudyug, the first of these three shallow-water icebreakers as between 1982 and 1987 (before modification).
I will try do draw also after modification (I'm not sure...) but before I'll do the other two IBs as nowadays

Great work Lazer_one! Its always good to see IBs here with "Lazer" -quality. I wonder if there are enough references for example Otso/Kontio, Polaris or Ahto Icebreakers?

I started Otsio/Kontio but very poor drawings... Polaris and Ahto ???

By the way here is Magadan as nowadays managed by Fesco - Far East Shipping Company
