Could you please explain how the railings are wrong and where the shading is missing?

shading is missing on the structure.... I suppose there is an overhang there? that should be shaded

the railing is wrong just behind the structure. you have used an tripple bar in it, sb scale dictates only 2

Well, there IS shading on the structure It's just kind of plain in RL but the overhangs are shaded.
As for the railings: is there a rule against three-bar railings? I couldn't find anything like that

Yes, we always use the two-bar railing from the equipment sheet.
And may I suggest you do the text to this format:

It's how most of the USCG cutters are done.
That way you get class, name and pt number all in one place.
Additionally, if the ship has undergone any major refits, it's a good idea to note what time the drawing represents.

ok, could be that I missed the shading then. and yes, there is an rule against 3 bar railings, because they hide too much of the things behind it. many ships have 3 bar railings, and this is one of those few points where accuracy is broken for the standard.

I would change a little the yellow hue of the funnel and I would add some shading on the hull details...
And I agree with Thiel about a more detailed description
