There are very little information on it, if there is anything out there, I haven't manage to find it yet.

the ship will be 125 meter long and around 20-25 meter wide. rest is a bit, well you all know how an Navy is about their spyships!

The only identification it have is Hull 777. the hull it self with superstructure is build in Romania for an Norwegian shipyard, then it have been towed to Norway to an Norwegian Shipyard where the rest will be done. The funny thing is that on the Shipyard webpage you can't find anything about this ship! odd since the shipyard like to brag about what it is doing. since the ship have already been delivered up to here in Norway, the completion of the ship should be around late this year or early next year. (most likely this year, since when the contract was signed it was excpected to take 3 years to have here finished, and that was in 2011)

oh! and obviously I am going to draw her. I'm just waiting for more information on here. or try to find some more information.

a spyship doesn't need to look like an spyship.

Just like the old Marjata, if you remove here radars she looks like just an normal seismic ship.

Nice article on the new ship here:

http://barentsobserver.com/en/security/ ... ship-17-03

There is a link in that article to hi-res pics of the hull passing through the Bosphorus.

She will be called MARJATA again, she is Vard Langsten hull number 777 (IMO number 9648659). The hull was built at Vard Tulcea in Romania. She can be seen leaving Romania here: http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/pho ... 0#comments
