A friend of mine has agreed to make a 3D model of one of my ships. the only problem is she needs a top down view of the ship to do it. I would do it my self but I am not skilled enough. If any one is capable of helping me with this I will be for ever grateful(I will also make sure you will be credited for your services).

I had a look around on my computer and found this one (I did know I had, just needed to find it). This as originally a 220 meter super cruiser that I did for fun but I have re scaled it to you'r ship size, so the line drawing you see bellow is now a line-plane of a 245 meter vessel, I did also do some adjustment on the bow, stern, and bellow water line hull to better accommodation here size. (my software says that here Displacement is 35 533,2 tons. Note she doesn't have a torpedo bulge like HMS Hood. But with a bulge she should be around 40 000 tons at 10.21 meters design drought)

But my I suggest to use HMS Hood's hull, you only need to modifies it slightly to get it in that shape you want it. for what you have one deck, build all deck first in cart board for the it is more easier to do adjustment before starting on the real model build work.

Note I see I have an small error in the Stern section of that lines-plane, something I have to edit a bit.

edit fixed!
