While starting up my own reround with Soviet carrier designs to be published here sometime around spring I once again found myself extremely dissapointed to the fact that our bucket's biggest disgrace is the US carriers, or more likely their abcence.

We have nice round up of Brithish carriers joining the bucket thanks to Bombhead but someone needs to give similar devotion to USN carriers from all dates.

Now I can't stand it anymore so this is an ultimatum, if there isen't at least half a dozen USN carriers in the slipways once I've done with the soviet ones, I'll start doing them myself. And that means some serious shakedown for the entire USN style of shipbucket drawings including some major US system redrawns which will be the official shipbucket parts from thereafter.

I'm not kidding nor joking around, I will start with USS Enterprise. You have approx. 3 months...

I am redoing all of the old Crazyhorse's drawing:

It was just very long to redraw because of lack of good references...

How odd that no one has done the Big E yet.

I would consider most of Crazyhorse's work not worth building off of, to the point that a clean slate drawing would be better.

The USN carriers need to be ENTIRELY REDRAWN. Do NOT use CrazyHorse's drawings as any kind of reference as they are improperly scaled, and for all we know incorrect in other areas. If they are not completely redrawn, I will not allow them to be added to the archive!

I'm in full agreement with Gollevainen on this. It's a bit strange that the biggest / most powerful warships ever in service aren't represented on this site. I would love to see someone draw them with such painstaking attention to detail as BB1987's Japanese cruisers and battleships. That's the level of detail we should strive for in all real life ships.

Will also state my full agreement on finally standardizing the style and drawings of the USN post-war systems, which have for some time been a bit of a mess. As one of the primary USN drawers I think I can state this with certainty. ;)

Timothy: Add the upcoming Gerald R. Ford-class CVNs as well...the first one's about 95% complete. :)
