My Firefox updated itself, and now EVERY piece of text uses ClearType! I hate ClearType so much after years of drawing.

An FYI to anyone else who's noticed this abomination: you can download an "Anti-Aliasing Tuner" addon which can at least turn the ClearType off in the browser window, but it doesn't seem to help the actual title bars, favorites bar buttons, or third-party addons (like Chatzilla, etc).

Any ideas on how to disable it entirely? It really is one of the worst things ever made for computers.

Roll back to Windows XP. It will solve all ClearType issues

It's worse because I know Windows 8 will just keep forcing cleartype down our throats.
