I was watching at the website of damen shipyards and got inspired to make a barge that could be used as accomodation of with some barge's together to build af floating hospital ( will folow later)

Info about this one:
Length: 101 m
Beam: 29 m
Accomodation space for 150 persons.
1 Landing spot for a medium helicopter.

Indeed, very interesting design! However you should maybe include
some more details, there's much of potential in this design.

Very "out of the box" thinking, looking forward to the next version, self-protection?

It doesn't need self-protection. These ships often lay within the harbor for accomodating extra sailers in case of overcapacity.

It will not get self protection , only it could be in a war situation to defend the base / location that it will be armed with some FN MAG (M240) 7.62mm machineguns.
A small new version '' the topvieuw'' its not so nice as the canadian JSS topvieuw because i spend more the 3 weeks to complete that this one is done in a few hours.

Remember, everything is better with VLS. On a more serious note, I wonder what an armored version would look like for less secure areas that you might still need accomodation for. I guess in those circumstances, other solutions are found, but it would still look cool.
