Majestic
Temeraire

I'm sorry to be a bother, but last thread was such an disaster... but, I'm willing to try again, and this time taking this at a slow pace and one type at a time. Current question is: is there anything on these two that still needs to go to the scrapyard?

Well, without commenting on te viability to use a 60-year old or so hull design as a basis for your ships, I'll say this much: study contemporary ships and their proportions; placement of superstructures etc, look at the excess of your weapons outfit and consider the weight penalties incurred. When you could have made a neat, tidy design, you instead wasted a whole lot of space - and weight, and for what? Your ships could be utilized as very capable command ships, but on both you ave wasted a whole lot of useful space by maintaining the superstructure well aft of what would be considered acceptable for the time frame you're placing your ships in. On the Majestic, the entire focs'le is basically wasted, and is up for some serious treatment by the seas, especially at full power. Also, steam turbines? That'd be considered awfully antiquated and uneconomical in today's energy consumption aware society! Your funnels does strongly suggest that that is exactly what you've got!

I'm not sure why you'd need the Mk 48 VLS luanchers on the superstructure on Majestic when you have enough room in the hull for like half a million missiles. Those are usually used on smaller ships that don't have room for or can't handle the weight of full-size Mk 41 VLS.

Well here's the really bad news:

Since you've added what's really light modification to an existing drawing, I don't feel that I can really judge your skill and where you need improvement.
