For my first drawing in 2012, I went back and redid the completely inaccurate drawing I did, my first shipbucket work, and drew it to be more like the actual image, the ship is basically an upscaled Sea Shadow that operates as a UCAV/UAV carrier.

The underwater hull is drawn with some guess work guess work based on the source image.

As a sub note, I have a very bad habit of drawing real and never built designs that have a severe lacking of references. :|

And my apology to ace for drawing from his old worklist. Twice.

For comparison, here is the first drawing.

Are you going to up-detail the first one?

How is a less detailed image an improvement? :?:

Older drawing looks better detailed, and so looks better overall.

A lot of the details on the first image were just things I added on, plus the first one has a tri hull instead of the SWATH hull it does have. Of course the first one was drawn from the image in the book I had which was smaller than the one ace uploaded to his Photobucket gallery.

I admit the first one looks better, but it is extremely inaccurate to both the Lockheed design terms and the artist impression of what it may have looked liked.

So all you have to do is, make the new drawing as detailed as possible, to bring it up the former drawing's standard.

If I could make a suggestion, would anyone like to try to draw the Stealth Blackhawk for this ship? Seems fitting considering that its supposed to stay off the radar as much as possible. Heres a concept comparison: http://cencio4.files.wordpress.com/2011 ... x4-new.jpg
