The ship will drive on LNG. The length of the hull: I have based on what I have heard and how large today's ro-ro vessels NOR LINES have today.





And for those who thought the built-in bulb I drew on one of the carriers I drew long ago would not work. See what the Rolls Royce has done here. they designed the ship with a built-in bulb. I could write at least 10 pages with illustration photo about why this bulb will work. But it would be overkill. And I am not "Nazi"!

It's not so much about it not working as much as it not working as well as a normal bulb.
I took a peek at NORLINE's ports of call and a lot of those are limited to ~115-120m, so to me it look more like an attempt to make the cargo capacity as big as possible and still make it fit into the ports.

Great drawing, lots of potential other type's of ships i think (offshore support ships and so on) i actualy think indeed a build in bulb would work perfectly in combination with this Axe-bow.

It wouldn't. The Axe-bow works because it's shaped like it is. Start mixing and matching and you'll end up with a design that has none of the advantages of its elements.

I will not say anything, just that "Ulstein" designed a version, just a little different.



And here we see clearly that if you want a bulb on an X-bow so it must be something like on the picture, the version I drew will not work.

To illustrate how small bow of the "Norline" ship is in relation to the X-bow I must make a drawing (hope this shows how much difference there is between the X-bow and Norline's):
