A WIP of the LST-1171 class ship the USS Grant County
Again, if you have pictures or drawings of the class I'd be grateful if you'd post them.

Thanks a lot. The first picture is especially helpful since it shows the GFCS. All the other pictures I've found are either grainy or have them covered.

Is HMS Stalker of a similar design? She's not in a good state, but some efforts are being made to resore her.

Nope. HMS Stalker is a Mk 3 LST, The 1171 class is a postwar development. It's bigger, faster, have better accommodations, can carry twice as many vehicles and three times as many troops and is much better armed. (3 twin 3"/50 vs 8 20mm)
