I have no idea what mexi-floats are, but there are pontoons or something hung to the side, I suppose for loading-unloading or even (early, I know) a bit of seabasing.

OMG that ship would have been so fugly but , he it was 1988 so looking great for that time! im sure if build it would be still in use somewere around the globe.

btw. realy drawn good ! never knew we had these plans for so long already.

well, these plans were what lead to the rotterdam.... so the rotterdam could have looked like an stealth(ier) version of this one.
btw, if you look at the bay class, with an similar layout, this one isn't even THAT ugly.... but still ugly, I agree.
