Hello everyone. New here, not a drawer, mostly a 3D artist. I have recently been taking inspiration from original designs in the FD scale forums to make 3D models and have been thoroughly enjoying it, hoping to continue the trend. I was talking to one of the mods on Discord about possibly doing a small contest in which the winner or winners would get their design into a 3D model, and I think there was some interest.

Here's the FD inspired models I've made so far: Garlicdesign's SCI T3S Siolpaire, rundrewrun99's Lockheed C-80 Murciélago, and Themax's Paladini-Mosset R-26, based on Kat2's FD scale drawing

Hello and welcome to the Bucket. These 3D renditions are wonderful. I would love to learn how to 3D render my Castlemaine Class DDGs.

Thanks! And you should give it a shot! I think it's easier than it looks, especially if you're already good at drawing with such level of detail. I actually want to try my hand at doing the same with a few ship designs as well
