Hello everyone, I'm back again with another never-built design!

Today, I am presenting the Ansaldo proposal for the Imperial Russian Navy for a battleship described as being of "22,000 Tons and 21.25 Knots" that I had run across on the internet about a week and a half ago. When I saw the design, something compelled me to go ahead and take my shot at drawing it.

The proposal can be seen here:

It seems like an interesting proposal, just the idea of having one of the turrets being right in front of the wheelhouse would not make me too comfortable. I do not know much about this proposal, as there does not seem to be much information online about it. Nevertheless, it does have some specifications:

1) Dimensions: 178m x 27m x 8,15m

2) Displacement: 22.000 tons standard

3) Maximum Speed: 39km/h (21,25knots)

Armour:

Belt: 203mm (127mm forward, 152mm aft), 102mm upper belt

Deck: 102mm (38mm+25mm+38mm (sloped))

Conning Tower: 256mm

Anti-Torpedo Bulkhead: 51mm

Armament:

4 x 3 12"/52 guns
16 x 1 120mm/50 casemate guns
12 x 76mm guns
Proposal: 4 x 47mm guns (I replaced these in the drawing with 76mms)
Proposal: 8 x 1 13mm Machine Guns
Proposal: 4 x 1 457mm Submerged Torpedo Tubes

I only had this proposal diagram to work with when drawing, so thanks to users like Karle94 who were able to help me make the ship adhere to Russian conventions of the time!

I dunno if they'd name a battleship after that guy, considering he took the fleet halfway around the world to get it annihilated by the IJN.

I quote these wise words of some random guy on Discord: "Name it after Rozhestvensky. Gods know he needs one after having the great misfortune of commanding the Baltic-Pacific carnival cruise lines."

Updated the text to fit the proper scale.

And yes, those wise words are the ones that inspired me to name the ship as such. Even inspired the addition of some wooden boxes that contain a certain visual device. ;)
