I'm sorry to be the 'party pooper here', but as they stand the later versions of the Jamaica will need a lot more work on them before I can accept them. Kim, I thought you'd accepted this after I sent you all those scans? I will pm you the changes required, and there are quite a lot. Also, can you pm the updated drawings to me for posting (as I originally requested).

You'd better cancel any partying this weekend ;)

You too Bill. There's still that pom-pom next to the forward funnel that has the old parts :D

After waiting quite some time for someone to draw a late war version of HMS Jamaica, I decided to attempt it myself. Detailed resources on this ship were more sparse than I thought and, while I don't believe my drawing to be 100% correct, it's the best I can do for now.

Well, it's off-template, you've removed the black lines from the bow and stern, and you've added gradients that are very much non-standard. I don't know enough about the ships themselves to critique it, but I know that you'll need to fix the aforementioned items prior to an upload.

And change the host. Photobucket is no longer a viable host for SB drawings.

:? What have you modified besides changing her from sb-drawing to non-sb-drawing?

if I see it correctly....... several small bits, like the crane hub, aft gun director, some small guns, the radar lantern in the foremast, the radar on top of the foremast........ most of them look wrong to me. certainly not worth crediting, I would say.

I ask of you to prove me wrong. Not say I am wrong, but prove it, because then I will have learned something new.

Yeah, I see it. Amongst other thing changed the Type 281 radar back to an older edition. I don't know if BCRenown had talked with PB, but it would have been very polite talking with us about this project :?
