The Saro P.187 was a beast! Two Gyron reheated jets (35,000lbs in afterburner each) and four Spectre rockets (10,000lbs each) for M2.5 but 3.0 would have been possible. It's worth adding that the nose actually lowered vertically for better visibility on landing, it was not a droop-nose like Concorde but moved straight down. Very odd.
