hmm.... move the gun more aft, (it should be just aft of the sonar, or even more to the back. you can group the VLS toghether, but keep in mind that you have 2* 8*8 cells right now.... I would go for 64+ 32 VLS cells, or even just 64.

also, one thing I see now of the bridge: you have an overhanging 'wing' with no place for human in it. you'll need to lower the floor a bit, if you get what I mean.

anyway, I fixed a few of the things mentioned above, and added some new stuff.... see if you like it.

(Oops, didn't notice that thing with the bridge...)

Anyways, your edits are nice. I like the new 96 cell VLS. But can't the CIWS be on top of the bridge or something? I figure that the taller it stands the better, right?

I'll see if I can find a place for the back CIWS to go, and I'll edit the bridge.

well the problem with the goalkeeper (and I think with this AU one as well) is that they have a lot of deck penetration. that means that you'll loose space in the bridge, something you don't want. if you would put the goalkeeper on top of the bridge, you'll have to lower it, because you'll have to heighten up the GK, and then it is in front of your radar.

Goalkeeper (which you've based your design on here) has serious deck penetration. If you place it over the bridge you'll have interference between the mount and the bridge itself.

Edit: Ace Sniped me.

Actually you guys can be wrong at one point.

The Goalkeeper has deck penetration, but that can be shifted.
It doesnt have to be so much below the turret.

All you need below the turret is the loading system, shifter, and the servo engine (To turn it).
This also requires space around the goalkeeper (below deck) for people to walk past to fix stuff.

The rest you can love more to the back to the ship.
The Dutch have on the Evertsen (LCF) a room behind the Bridge.
Can be created here by enlarging the forward superstructure.
Or use a U shape Bridge, with in the middle a staircase down, and the Goalkeeper .50cal.

possible? yes. here? no good idea. it would penetrate the bridge, and there is space in front of the bridge.

Yes but for a true 180 degree ciws protection on the front it has to be on top.
And less cost instead of 2x ciws on front?! Or does it has 1 now?

You won't get 360 degree coverage by mounting it on the bridge. To get that you'd have to mount it on top of the APAR.
It should go without saying that it would be a bad idea.

Wait i noted 180 degreese?

And you will get 360 if you put on hangar and bride.
On forward section and hangar will not be 360 degreese.

And putting it on the bridge is no issue at all.
