According to Chris White, the editor of the Historical RFA site, they did have bow thrusters. Exactly how they looked or where they were located remains to be seen though.

i have recently found a picture on the web.
http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Shippy20 ... tobruk.png.

they are the design specs for HMAS Tobruk, a ship based on the 5th Built British ship Sir Bedivere, but modified for Austrailian service. i have circled red the Bow Trusters.

i have therefor modified my drawings and hopefully things are now getting close.

Excellent shippy; my only question is the Chinook version shown in 1987. Is that correct? It looks a bit modern.

The ship is drawn to its early 2000's configuration, I titled it as Sir Galahad (1987) to show it was the new built ship, might re do the titles to include it's rough date as depicted ....

Just prior to it's withdrawal from British service and transfer to brazil.

Very fine additions of RFA vessels. A little nit pick; I'm not sure the aft part of the funnel on Sir Bedivere (both editions) and Sir Lancelot are good enough. I think the line should have same angle from bottom to top (like Sir Galahad).

Very nice drawings. as mentioned before, don't forget the watermark in the corner, and then to submit them in the upload thread!
