A little torpedo boat armed with three twin 115mm mounts, three twin 37mm mounts, two single 20mm and four 600mm torpedo tubes in a single mount. Speed about 31.5kts, range 2,500nm at 15kts.

That is a lot of guns and not all that many torpedoes and one heck of a silhouette for a torpedo boat

Good point Thiel. These are replacement ships from a couple of puny torpedo boats armed with two 75mm guns built in the early 1930s. These two new-build ships will be serving alongside four slightly older ships armed with two twin 100mm mounts and four torpedo tubes. These are meant to be small ships and slightly expendable. The Project 454 is a larger version of these ships with 115mm guns, plus an extra mount and will serve as flagship and vice-flagship of the Torpedo Destroyer Division they will serve in. In the crowded Plate facing the mighty Royal South African Empire Navy guns may well serve the ship better than the older small boats which were almost wiped-out during the 1935 South American War. Also these vessels are probably more suited to wartime escort roles too.

A training ship conversion for my Argentine Navy over at Wesworld, the General San Martin. She is the ninth of the Brazilian destroyers I purchased and she replaces a sunken minelayer-cruiser of the same name. She is designed to be a cadet ship and features most of the common destroyer systems and weapons in use and has a helicopter landing pad (such machines do exist in Wesworld in crude WW2-era forms) for future use and generally as a large enough deckspace for PT or sun-bathing!

also, is she designed as training ship or an rebuild destroyer? (this is not entirely clear from the text)

Originally a Brazilian destroyer laid down in 1932. Sold to Argentina in 1942 (IIRC). The original design was rather unusual, as it featured a 9x120mm armament in a 3x3 setup. The Argentines bought the set from Brazil.

Yeah the weird three prop layout was from the original ships, they were weird in many respects, but in this rebuild the central shaft is run by a diesel which can power the ship for an 11kts cruising speed.

Finally got around to drawing the L Class cruiser from Wesworld, very much like a smaller Southampton/ Colony so those are the two ships combined here into something that I think looks quite nice.
