A general warning from someone who's medically trained, do not call someone with diagnosed autism an idiot! That outright rude, ugly and extremely insensitive and reveals a certain level of absence of compassion. I know I'm not a moderator, but I'm also sure they will support my opinion here!

I never called him an idiot. I said he drew like one, because of the abject failures in the majority of his designs. He may well be autistic, and I apologise if I have demeaned him... but the drawings have a serious number of problems that he does nothing to solve.

This Bezo. Sorry man, you're spot on, but... this is what I was referring to as 'the standard defence of internet failures'

Maybe, maybe not. In internet we all in some point anonymous, we can say anything about ourself and nobody can check it.

And that is the end of my part in this discussion.

...and my ending will be that name-calling is always dangerous online; in this world of complete anonymity, but if someone claims to be diagnosed with some sort of disorder, we ought to give that person the benefit of doubt - and I'm mentioning this because I have a medical background and currently am working in Special Education in TX.

I'm on my tablet waiting for a final to start, but I think that people around here have been very patient with him, and there is no surprise that with sympathy running low and a claim of an ASD, that people are going to doubt him.

I've advised this guy, I've been in his threads, I've even collaborated on a damn AU with him over the last five months, and not once has this come up. If earlier on in his time here he had said something like:
"Please, go slowly, I have such and such an issue"
I might have been a bit more sympathetic. The fact he drops it in once people like me start to lose their rags is what makes me doubt him. It's an easy thing to claim across the net because it allows for things like drawing, while being less capable or struggling with various concepts. It's possible, and if I am wrong, I'm sorry... but by god do I doubt it at this point.
