It's my mistake really. I've drawn almost 30+ planes in FD scale for my AU and only just begun to post the real life ones here.

I vote for a two-artist collaboration, there are certainly merits in both and a combination of the best of both would result in an even better outcome.

The Aero Ae-45 looks rather more boxy than I'd expect. The Ilyushins looks great though.

I think it would help a lot if you upped the shading a notch along the top of the fuselage.

I'm well aware of that, but in this case it isn't working all that well. It works on the Ilyushins because they have a largely oval cross-section, but the Ae-45 doesn't.
