A question for anybody knowledgeable about RN guns on the sheet,

I was looking at making an AU 6" MK XII twin (for the Cruiser challenge) and compared the 4.7" as its available in twin and single to give a reasonable scaling %.

I noticed that the QF MK IX twin looks like it has a longer barrel v the singles is this right or a mistake or a feature of something like the balance weights at the back end longer than the single?

JSB,
Which Mk IX are you referring to? The 4.7in Mk IX? If so, the gun had a longer 50 calibre barrel to previous marks.

4.7"/45 (12 cm) QF Mark IX & XII (3rd down of the 4.7" on sheet)

I was comparing the CP XIX twin with the CP XVIII

http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNBR_47-45_mk9.php
Gun Length oa
Mark IX: 220.62 in (5.604 m)
Mark XII: 224.08 in (5.692 m)
4" is less than 1 pixel (6"/1 pixel) difference but the sheet has it as 6 pixels longer?

Is the Mk XI the 50 cal gun on the CPXX the last one down of the 4.7"?

In that case its probably an error on the drawing. I agree looking at photos of the mount the barrel is too long. I'll fix it up for a future update.

Redid the MK XXII and XXIII turrets to better represent their curved roof and the curved glacis plate of the XXII.
Added the elevated guns to show off the offset centerline barrel.

Still not happy with them, especially the roof/sides transition, so I switched those to black because it's a damn near 90 degrees angle. Also added some more shading to the sides to more accurately represent the shape. Then I noticed the XXVI turrets...
