This is HOBSON (DD-464) as the ship appeared in September 1942. HOBSON is shown in the experimental Measure 15, a scheme developed directly from First Admiralty Disruptive type. It consisted of the usual Measure 12 (modified) colors and splotches, but added white to the superstructure pattern. Note Deck Blue (20-B) on the gun mount and torpedo tube tops.
For obvious reasons this camouflage was not seen as very effective and HOBSON was repainted into Measure 22 at its next refit.
Next is CHARLES F. HUGHES as of January, 1941, with Measure 2 camouflage. Measure 2 was the forerunner to Measure 22, but used a pattern consisting of equal bands of Dark Grey (5-D), Ocean Grey (5-O), and Light Grey (5-L) on the hull, with Deck Blue (20-B) on all horizontal surfaces.
