Of course they have 12.7mm. I just don't like to add them on vessels in this scale. It will be to mush distraction from the drawing it self.

Since other is drawing sail ships...

Am not going to bother my self with drawing sails on here. but If anyone want to do, they can do it for me!

Basically:
- she is a little over 50 meter.
- 28 large canons
- 30 medium canons
- 8 small canons

more than that I don't know, I just drawn something. and just hope it stick to the paper!!

And...

something a bit shorter.

20 large cannons
6 small cannons (deck guns)

larger than normal captains cabin, for those long range missions.

Ok, Henrik, before I comment on your small 3rd rate and the 6th rate, I would like to have a year of build. Thereby I can better tell whether your various choices are consistent with practices at the time or not.

And your 3rd Rate is about 43 meters long between stern and stemposts (about 41 meters between perpendiculars and about 35 meters on the keel (rough estimates only!) which would place her size-wise around 1700-1730, if later she is very small for her rate.

Also, your stern galleries have a very distinct French style with a slight Danish bent to it. Have you studied the Danish-Norwegian navy of the period? However, your prow railing doesn't look up on par with what I know you can produce. Too straight, to simple and unadorned.

The run, and sweep, I can say immediately are too exagerrated. straighten them, especially at the prow. What you're creating with those sweeps are extremely fine lines at the stem. which means that, though the ship will be comparitively fast, it will also make the ship very unstable and thus a bad gun platform.
Also I'm wondering about those protrusions at the focs'le and stern that looks almost like MG:s. They wouldn't be that, right?

Ehh...so much about commenting specifics....
