EDIT: also, it looks like you've forgotten to update the prop guard....

do i have to get rid of that part from lw-08 or not?

it looks like you've forgotten to update the prop guard....
------>which prop guard? the prop guard of radar or another thing?

true, but:
this ship is equipped with the AN/SPS-49. this is (if vossiej is correct) an licenced copy of the LW-08.

sorry, my mistake. I did a bit of research. the drawing is correct.
btw, the prop guard is that little thing at the stern, which you have drawn in an triangular shape... the bottom lines should be straight

Hmm I guess they are indeed different, but by getting rid of that part you pointed out maybe delivers a more detailed drawing that closely resembles the SPG-49.

But indeed you should better keep it the way it is, maybe our radar-expert erik_t has something else to say about it?
