KV Farm was sold in 1998
KV Heimdal is no longer under command. Is not sold, so it is probably in reserve fleet.

Next ship is:
W303 KV Andenes (W312 KV Kim), W304 KV Senja and W305 KV Nordkapp of Andenes class.
Build in 1957 at Jonker & Stans former name: R5, R4 and R2 under norwegian command from 1964 sold in 1981-1984. R3 R4 sold to Canada in 1981-1983. R5 hired again by the navy from 1991 to 1994.

A few quick things.

First, the flag you're using is wrong. Firstly, its the commerce flag, not the naval flag, and secondly, it's far too big for its use. In the Royal Norwegian Navy and Coast Guard of Norway, the sea flag (which is the one you have depicted) is relatively small, as this picture of HNOMS Tyr (N50) demonstrates. There is a good variant in the "Ensigns" file, found in the "Parts" area of this forum somewhere.

Secondly, the writing on the side of the Coast Guard Vessels reads "KYSTVAKT", not "KYSTVAKTEN". See this picture of NOCGV Andenes (W322) for demonstration.

And ex-HEIMDAL was the subject of a SINKEX with the subs a few years ago IIRC.

wow wow. sorry for that. I was just a little quick on the turn with the writing.

And when it comes to the flag. Norwegian Navy have two different flag. That I have drawn plus another slightly different flag. but the flag is not wrong, the blue would have perhaps been a little darker, otherwise it is correct. And it is not forbidden for the commander on board to hoist an extra large flag if he wants to do it.

But I'll be kind to you today, so I shall post pictures of the boat with some other flag. ;)

I'm pretty sure there's specific rules regarding the size and use of the flag.

Atleast all the flag sources I have states that Norwegians use the shallowed tailed flag as both state and military ensign, so Unless these ships are civilian charted and private owned, the flag is wrong.

And what comes to the size, provide me a picture of simlar size flag on similar size vessel and Let you keep it ;)

yes there are rules about how the flag should look, but there are no rules that prohibit the commander to hoist an extra large flag!! :?

And here with state and war flag aft and national flag in the mast. (The national flag is also used as a merchant flag)
