1. Forget Renown, which was a Fisher speed at any cost aberration. Ship speed and construction speed. Tennyson d'Eyncourt wanted 4x2 15in but was over-ruled on the grounds that turrets were not available and completion would be delayed.
2. The 1915 initial designs were overall length over 800ft, 31,000+ tons, 26.5 to 27 knots. Rejected by Jellicoe as too fast to combine economically with the battlefleet, but not fast enough to catch new German battlecruisers. Wartime tactical needs overriding logical development.
3. Then Hood initial designs, length 860ft oa (picking out Hood from alternatives, including 18" gun ships) 36,500 tons 8x15" 32knots
4. Then Jutland, piling an extra 5000tons of armour on to Hood.
I realize personal designs in Shipbucket seem aimed at handsome ships, but in reality what determines new designs is what is below decks. (That includes main gun layout because of the need to provide and protect big enough magazines, but is largely determined by engine power needed for a given speed, the space needed and the weight to protect it.)

I like the concept, but I join the better informed members, regarding the IJN style bows and stern. I'd go with a more British looking bows, like HMS Hood, or even HMS Nelson (they were built as hydro-dynamically clean as possible, the get the most speed out of their engines).
Also with the more British looking bows and stern, a lengthening in later life might not be necessary.
