Yes, the plan is to draw the following:

CB-1, 1944 (as the first unit it had several differences from CB-2, but the two ships look almost exactly the same by 1945) - Measure 32 Design 1D / OS2U Kingfisher floatplanes
CB-1, 1945 (complete) - Measure 22 / SC-1 Seahawk floatplanes
CB-2, 1944 - Measure 32 Design 7C / OS2U Kingfisher floatplanes
CB-2, 1945 - Measure 22 / SC-1 Seahawk floatplanes
CB-3, 1948 - a "never built" of USS Hawaii if she had been completed.

Maybe later I will make some post-war refits but not sure.
I think unfortunately that it distracts quite a bit from the ship. I will probably remove it from later versions, and attach a separate FD scale template with the appropriate seaplanes. I don't add badges and coats of arms for the same reason!

Maaan where do I subscribe??? Really looking forward to these favorite cruisers of mine (and I think I'm speaking for a lot of USN fans here).

There is a reason why Colo is one of the founding members and has the position on Shipbucket he does. Quite impressive.

As for the canvas size thing, like I said I think Colo came up with a good idea. I think we should be able to just stretch the canvas size to fit (without going overboard, for example on an aircraft carrier) and just leave the templates be, with maybe just a little box indicator to show where FD-scale aircraft would go. Either way, I like it because it also means we have a use for FD-scale now

Really awesome About the FD-scale plane I'm agreeing with you, it's a kind of disturbing as it is now. Maybe if the plane could be in a seperate box in an enlarged template? Just a thought.

I've seen some lineart drawings (outside of Shipbucket) that include an inset of an aircraft, so it makes sense to me.

A possible post-war style Hawaii to come, but that requires me to spend time updating the post-war radars which I don't really want to do. :/
