Well, the difference can be seen very clearly (though I'd say that propellers looked better on the first version ).
My point was that I'm drawing here only small ships and in large part it's because I consider big ones harder to do.
(Other reason is that it's a convenient "market niche" as majority of users are devoted to larger sizes)
Yet lots of people write that small stuff is more difficult. For me it is quite a strange feeling, but certainly good for my ego.
