I knew I had forgotten something, but couldn't recall what it was, till I looked it up: I had retained the SPS-768 radar on the 1977 version, when I ought to have had it changed to an SPS-12 installation. Duly done thusly. I've also included my original version of the ship with the 'B'-turret trained athwardships. Now the editing should be finally done! (Hopefully...) 8-) 8-) ;) :)

:D Bezo, I will now give you the crest for MM Audace. When you liked the crest for MM Ardito, you will love this one. I consider it as my masterpiece and IMHO think it looks even better than the original ;)
Because of Majhost.com apparently got a broke down, I have to attach it here. So please announce, when you have copied it, so I can delete the attachment ;)

Yes, it's absolutely FANTASTIC! You've managed to create a extremely realistic bronzing to the image. Golly you can host a tutorial anytime here how to do it! My profund Congrats on your true Masterpiece! Oh, and I have duly copied it to my h/d! :) 8-)

Just felt a desire to sort of round off this thread (unless I decide to commit to my usual style, i e port and starboard elevations!) by posting how the Audace appeared shortly after her completion in 1972. In fact she had been completed for trials already in October of 1971, by the builder Riva Trigoso, Trieste, sans her wing OTO-Melara 76.3 mm guns, and attained almost 37 knots on the run in the calm waters of the Eastern Adriatic.
