Just a small comment about the funnels: I would prefer all four funnels with the shadow looking forward.
Look again, they are correct! You may be seeing things because 1) the steam exhausts are reversed fore and aft and 2) some of the rigging plays tricks.

I say again, you are a master at drawing ships with sailing masts.

Superb drawing Craig and I must say I rather liked the shading. As Novice said just do two versions and everyone's a winner. 8-)

2 versions have been suggested enough times now that I've kept backups of key stages of drawings. One of these days I'll set up a thread for personal projects to post them in.

I'm hoping that flattened last version will pass muster as an upload candidate. There's a couple more I'd like to spend time on...and wrap up.

Started working on an 18 gun brig (USS Wasp 1806) that was captured by the Brits during the War of 1812. It's basically contemporary to Colosseum's USS Constitution WIP, just a hell of a lot smaller. I suspect it will be right on the bitter edge of do-able at SB scale. May look at one of the "bastard" scales like 2xSB, 4xSB. Or FD since it appears established. That would be ideal for details but the others, would fit the monitor better.
