Are those enclosed casemates you've got? If showing her as of 1894-fit, then she should have wholly opened upper secondary emplacements. Also, while the semaphore is correct, I don't think the radio aerial is; besides, it's way too thick.
What regards the ships' boats: may I suggest that you recolor the sail cutters that you're using in the same (rather excellent) off white that you're using elsewhere? I know I drew those, but the coloring is really only a generalistic one!
But overall a stout, terrific drawing - on par with your Royal Sovereign!

Yes, I suspected as much. For your time period depiction, you simply used the wrong drawing! The one you used is the one, showing the class after reconstruction, 1903/04, with enclosed casemates, instead of open sponsons with shielded guns.
Mind you, the Victorian camoflage or livery was used till 1902 only, so, either repaint your Empress all grey or change the casemates to open sponsons with shielded gun mountings.

Well the casemate issue aside, this is another seriously excellent piece of art.
Darth, how do you do these! Every day you seem to churn out another cracking piece of work, each as good as the last whether its a sailing ship, pre-dread or nuclear submarine!!
