Now, Kim, remain one important question: would you be willing to complete the full series of coats-of arm, if I, in turn, will draw the two missing vessels in Batch 1, the Broadsword and Brazen? I never really had an intention of doing the entire class. I was for a long time fully and sufficiently happy with the Sheffield, but as I collected material, I saw how much, even in detail the ships differed, and before I realised it, I was doing ship by ship...
I think you miss the first batch3 F99 HMS Cornwall too ;) But it's fun to draw these COA's, and I really like the idea of a complete series of the class, so I will do it. If I can get the COA's - on net or otherwise - for these which were sold - I'll do them too. Also the romanian although I think it was Gollovainen (?) who draw them. I'll think you'll agree ;)

Yes, Kim, you're right about the Cornwall! How could I miss to mention her! About the Romanian ones I drew them, i e the Regele Ferdinand (there being only two!) but I've never noticed that they were accorded a CoA! MaybeI'm wrong here... But I certainly can tell that you're having fun creating these heraldic masterpieces! (Oh, and in a previous post I happenstancely assigned the HMS Coventry the pendant number F97 - it should, of course be F98! - My very bad!)

And here my True Loyal Lieutenant (Kim) Here's the HMS Cornwall (F99) as she presently appears, on the eve of being deleted from the Navy Rolls. The differences between her and her three sisters will be apparent at closer scrutiny:

This posting is also in honor of HRH Prince William and Ms Kate Middleton on the eve of their Royal wedding Day, Fri. April 29th. (HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales is also hereditary Duke of Cornwall, and once he ascends the Throne, Prince William will inherit his father's titles.)
