It's actually a rather old name from the age of sail so not really...

Oh Lord yes.

I don't need any more details from you. I'd rather not be buried under a mountain of text (I mean this in a good way).

In case you don't see it, Behind a combined railing and gangway bellow the hangar deck aft, there are triple torpedo tubes. one on each side.

Why? It's not a racial slur or anything. Black joke = Gallows humour. Given their mission it's actually rather suitable.

What did the black kid get on his A levels?

Etc, etc.

Nevertheless, I'm sure the hundreds of thousands of black UK citizens would be fine with it! :?

Well here is my new entry so far. I'm guessing with the weapons systems and have no idea what sensors I need so could anyone help in that regard? I'm also thinking of putting a torpedo tube in the hull opening but I have no idea what kind.

And yes I did go with the Meko inspired idea as whilst the ships don't look sleek they are a good base.

I think MConrad should be on that credit line... It's a MEKO 360 pixel for pixel with his...

Yeah I'm going to add him as a credit once I'm further in. I'm just using the cleaned template standard I always use currently. Just need to alter that part before completing it. It's actually a MEKO 360 with Bridge and aft mast structure from the Anzac Class and the underwater hull is a stretched Anzac again.

Fair enough. A point about the design, where you have the goalkeeper atm means you have no access to the hangar. I'd flank CIWS either side like on the actual MEKOs unless you were going to mount something without any penetration up there.

I'm one and I'm fine with it because it's a historic name. Just leave it alone already.

Side by side should work if I have the beam (I'd imagine so). I did consider that there might be more beneath the goalkeepers but couldn't think of just how much. I know the 4.5in Mk 8 on the bow needs three decks clearance below at least.

GK: about 1,5 deck penetration for the gun, reload room on the deck directly underneath the gun. also, they are way too expensive to have 2 on the hangar next to each other (especially considering this is an ASW ship)
