as a huge fan of minewarfare vessels, its really nice to see these rather standard western design finaly appear at least some corner of the bucket.

Very nice work as usual, these small craft are real gems.

During the Franco-Thai War (1940-1941), HTMS Nhong Sarhai was armed with 2x76/40 QF Mk I HA Naval Guns and 2xMadsen 20 mm machine guns. She was one of six RTN vessels in The Battle of Koh Chang (14 January 1941)

As an interesting side note a museum here in Denmark has a 20mm Madsen gun that was part of the Thai order.

Hydrographic Department, Royal Thai Navy

The Hydrographic Department Royal Thai Navy (HDRTN), founded in 1919, is the Thai government organisation under the control of Royal Thai Navy responsible for surveying Thai navigable waterways and producing official nautical charts and nautical publications to serve safety of navigation, naval operations and private-sector requirements.

Its national responsibilities and commitments embrace several areas. It publishes the national chart series (71 charts) covering Thai waters. It also produces National Tide Tables, Sailing Directions and Lists of Lights and Buoys in Thai Waters. It is further responsible for compiling and maintaining the Thai hydrographic and oceanographic data collection, providing and maintaining aids to navigation in Thai waters, maintaining Thai Standard Time and providing weather forecasting for Thai naval warships/aircraft and mariners navigating in Thai waters.

HTMS Chantara carries out hydrographic surveys and modern multi-beam system. She was used as royal reside ship for thailand's king bhumibol adulyadej when visit people who live in coastal or remote island (1961-1983).

i have a question with RTN underwater hull colour, left is Norfolk & Western Red (RGB=174,50,41) right is Southern & Pacific Daylight Red (RGB=195,55,55). good, bad, dark, or standard SB is the best way?
