I've got two new matrix. The italian if somebody would like to take the challenge to make an italian crest (very good exercise in drawing  ) and an american with rope frame, which is very common for a lot of the US Navy's vessels. Beside that I'm finish with the crest for the famous battleship USS New Jersey (the crest for HMCS Bonaventura is nearly complete! Look for it sunday at page 1)

While we're on this is there any hope of a detailed tutorial on how to make a coat of arms? I'm planning on giving the ships in my AU ones.

:? It's a hard one! It's a huge advantage if there already is a badge frame matrix. To draw a frame can easily take more time than the rest of the badge. Avoid text if it is possible, especially rounded text. I haven't yet figured out an easy way to make that and have to experiment each time to get it acceptable. The motive is in a way like drawing ships. Make the basic outline first and fill with the basic colours. Then add the details. The nicest crest to draw are those which are the same but mirrored on each side. Then you only need to draw the half, copy paste and mirror it. But many have regular paintings as motives. They aren't for beginners ;) Sometimes you really have to make the motive pixel by pixel. That's demand patience.
That's what I can give for advice right now. Maybe somebody have a really good tutorial. That would be nice :D

:D Now I can add Asia to the CoA parts sheet. I've produced the matrix for Indian Navy's round badge (it's attached at page 1) and made my first indian crest. The crest for the indian carrier (both the old and the new one) INS Vikrant. Here it is:

Wow...didn't realize the Indian navy had those too...but then...they are sailing with and in the best British traditions, so... 8-) :D  - A very great one, though you excelled without surpasse with your Italian ones! 8-)

You're welcome :D Notice the round badge is for R07 and the diamond is for the HMS Ark Royal from WWII (sunk 1941). I don't know which one you've drawn ;)
