Is there actually enough room for those VLS cells on the bow? I suspect if you take the taper and the equipment room for the anchos into account you will find that there is not.

Thank you all for your kind comments! :D :D :D

One note though, it feels like it could use some more relief. On the bow weapons deck, you have two small shaded boxes (slanted with one thick black border) which are not visible in the side view, while the RBU blast shield and the CIWS cast no shadows?
I know there are some shading issues, particularly in the top view, but I'm not totally sure how to draw them... I have to glance at others top-views until I decide how to proceed... By the way, those boxes are supposed to be the KT-216 decoy launchers, (you can see another pair at stern) and, after looking plenty of drawings, I haven't saw a side view of them that convinces me, nor I'm satistied with my own versions, so, on behalf of clarity, I decided to omit them from the side view, at least for now... (Note also that MGs are missing from top view for more or less the same reasons)

I don't think there's any need to have a duplicate set of ESM/ECM goodies, but I could be wrong.
I based my ESM/ECM suite on those carried by the Kusnetzov, and also on the never-built Ulyanovsk and others large russian ships, and all of them carried 2 complete sets of antennas. As my superstructure is lower, I chose to use a "Fwd/Aft", instead of other's "Upper/Lower" arrangement... Don't know if with today's improvements on electronic equipments, could I remove one of them, but I prefer to play safe...

My original plan is that the anchor chain would run between SAM's VLS & CIWS magazine, but I'm not a shipbuilding expert.. Another solution, checking VLS height & current anchor position is to lower the anchor a bit (till the gangway level) so it could run unobstructed below magazines, or to move anchors aft of magazines... so if anyone have another solution, I will really appreciate it!

Once again, thanks to all!

Doesn't the KT-216 use the usual PK-10 launchers? Or do I confuse it with something else? Anyway, since decoy launchers fire something like 45° upwards, you can work around this by hiding the launchers in a recess in the deck, so they aren't visible from the side. After all, you seem to like keeping your design stealthy :D

Sorry for the delay in answering, I just finished my night shift work week... From what I've been investigating, PK-10 is the name of the whole system, and KT-216 is just the launcher. I have experienced with other bow designs/arragements, but I think I'll leave as it is, just doubling the number of launchers. ;) Unfortunately, all my attempts to draw them ends not convincing me at all... So for now I will keep them as they are, if only to situate them although they not exactly fit "reality"...

I've updated the drawing, moved the anchor to the directly below deck to run under the VLS (don´t know if there are issues placing it so low... ) and repositioned the crane (in the original design the fwd elevator was wider, almost square, hoping to handle a future V/STOL, but as it complicated the arrangement of the hangar's gantry crane I finally make it a standard narrow elevator... :) But it can be modified in the future, who knows... ;)
