Naturally I don't have a scanner (even though I work for the largest printer manufacturer in the world ???) otherwise I'd scan some stuff for you.
Colo... you are an noob. using and camera to take picture of you'r books.

now open that book and take an picture of that page with the same camera.... easy. if you have an Plexiglas plate or similar around, you can lay it on the top of that page, push it down with something, the just hold you'r camera above it so you get the page in the entire field of view and take a picture. thus you have maked an very simple scanner.

Or just do like me, by and high end Nokia, download and scanner app to it. what it do is taking a picture of the document, and adjust it so it look like an scanned document....
