Another update. I have chosen 'BC' as hull classification symbol, as suggested, but I'm open for other arguments as well. I also consider König Wilhelm finished in her 1869 form, but any form of criticism is welcome. I want to get a good end result and I can't spot all the errors ;) .

'BC' is a most appropriate designation for this vessel in its current form!

Remember the good ol' days? Wanna turn your frigate into a cruiser? Simple! Just cut down the masts and strap on a lot of guns and voila:

Of course back then cruiser was a mission profile not a ship classification. Frigates were, functionally, cruisers to begin with. Not sure why the nomenclature changed.
