Some minor tweaks to the engines and the Sparrowhawk

Macon at the time of her loss with the removal of the water recovery system from engines 3 & 4 and with the added "perches" under the hull and the Sparrowhawks with their landing gear replaced with the long range fuel tank.

Thanks CanisD for these incredible renditions of the only two airborne 'aircraft carriers'. I've always loved them! Even bought sometimes in the mid-80's a carton model of the ZRS-5, but apparently lost it in my move to the US from Sweden. Never got time to build it either. So, in other words: these dirigables are a most welcome contribution!

P.s. I've spotted some other 'shipbucket'-style versions of these ships, evidently in a different scale, and now, since we can compare, infinitely inferior to your work.

Canis did draw these before in a smaller scale. Also a bunch of ahistorical airships, too.

These are my older drawings from several years ago, drawn to a scale of 1 foot = 1.148 pixels. It's a screwy scale, I know, but when I started drawing warships that was the scale I had for my first drawings and being a stubborn SOB I kept the scale so I didn't have to go back and redraw the old drawings. Plus, it was easier to draw on my old monitor.

Ahhh...I see! Well, I hope I didn't trample anyone's feet by my previous comment. ;) Of course, though the earlier ones are quite enjoyable, the most recent ones are just ever so awesome!
