Getting better and better but I still see some room for improvement - esp. with tiny details and geometry of forward part of the superstructure.

The forward part of the superstructure I followed the photograph exactly. I sized the photo down to SB size, and followed the contours of it. I don't know how much closer to real I could get on that, so I am really not getting what your complaint on that is.

As for tiny details, I pretty much added most all of thm from the photos I was working with, so again, not seeing what it is I could add. :?

as you can see here, the front of the structure is not straight, as you've drawn it, but angled. also, the weird thing on the stern seems to be an RHIB. I also miss the mooring gear, the nav radar, searchlight, some mast details and the flagpole at the bow seems to be a bit in the wrong position. also, the railing is missing some wires, the mast is missing some equipment and the outside steering position is wrong.

details like that?

now THAT is the type of info I need, not just a vague "more details" comment.

ok, version 5. hopefully, getting warmer?

changed from the beige to a grey, did some work on the RHIB on the stern (a little more definition to the cover), moved the forward jackstaff back from the point of the bow, outlined the open bridge windscreen in black instead of grey.

Sorry, I could have been indeed more precise. But it's Your job to know the ship You're drawing, not mine.
Do I understand correctly, that You've been trying to make this drawing based on 1 photograph only?

There seems to me, that there is searchlight and a siren in front of the open bridge.

Re: SB-standard railings. I was initially annoyed by that rule, but believe me - they are friends of the beginner. They allow to hide a lots of small, hard-to-draw details. One just needs to draw enough to signal that the particular thing is there, and the rest will be hidden behind the railing. ;)

Try to look on the photographs of the other ships of the class, it seems to be fairly standarized type.

That's my attempt to do this ship. Wrong color, but I've made it already on friday, and based on Your first version, merely for fun. I put the RHIB aside (away for maintenance of something ;) ), didn't include the radar and some other stuff etc.

Oh, no, I have probably 20-30 pics from various angles I've been using as references. Its just the one side view that I have used for basic outline stuff as it was an almost perfect side view.

Yes, I know I shouldn't do it.
I draw it initially only for myself, bit "for fun", with no intention to show it anywhere. Just added it here now as sort of example on drawing details etc.

EDIT: Unless You're talking about these drawings with arrows and notes what's wrong made by Thiel and myself? In that case I guess they shouldn't be a problem in a "Beginner Drawings Forum", esp. I've seen similar things made by several other users with other drawings.
